Charming, outgoing and widely-traveled Robert Hughes brings a wealth of organizational, business and international experience to the Biographica team. Reared in Kent, England, Robert brings acclaimed skill to the often complex side of documentary film production. His professional life includes a wide variety of positions throughout Africa and the Middle East, principally in publishing and event planning.

For example, on the publishing side, Robert is responsible for launching several English-language magazines throughout the Gulf states. Robert’s proven ability to take concepts and turn them into profitable enterprises translates exceedingly well for filmmaking. Likewise, his skill in working with global organizations speaks to his gift for making things happen on tight time and budget constraints.

By teaming up, Jerel and Robert represent a formidable team, each complementing the other in the filmmaker’s art.
