Carl Gustafson

After completing military service in 1972, Carl finished his BA degree in design at The University Of Kentucky and entered the film business as an art director for CBS affiliate WKYT in Lexington, Kentucky. In 1980 he became a founding partner of Design Elements, one of Lexington's leading marketing design firms. Jerel recruited Carl, his old Navy friend, as a partner in The Jones Group in 1983. The two became a successful team producing advertising, design and corporate commericals for Black and Decker, MCI, Fannie Mae, National Geographic, McCormick and many other blue chip accounts. Carl left The Jones Group in 1987 to form his own advertising firm, CICI. In 2004, Jerel created Biographica Films and reunited with Carl in 2007.
